- Brian Pastoria -
Detroit, MI -- September 19, 2016 -- Every video, song, image, phrase or shape needs the right catalysis that increases “likes” on Facebook, brings more Twitter followers, illicits more YouTube views, directs more traffic/exposure to the desired landing site and increases revenue.
Excitement is swirling about the new prospects in social media marketing, the future of multi-media, especially in the area of Digital Media Production.
Social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Twitter have become direct ways for all facets of business to connect with consumers.
Content has always been at the forefront on the Web; businesses and individuals of all walks of life need Digital Media Production to get the word out about brands, services and products.
Brian Pastoria is a pioneer in this relatively new field called, social media marketing.
Detroit, Michigan is his playground for media marketing, digital media production and consulting....
Brian grew up as part of a musical family in East Detroit, a city known for its gritty rock ‘n’ roll. At the age of 13, after playing piano for 4 years, he got his first set of drums and proceeded to learn his trade, playing to records ranging from early Motown, Beatles and Rolling Stones to Chicago, Aerosmith, J. Geils, Grand Funk and Led Zeppelin. His drumming style developed into a thoughtful blend of driving rock ‘n’ roll and Motown soul.
From 1977 to 1993, Pastoria became a founding member of the Detroit band’s Adrenalin and DC Drive, and toured North America w Grand Funk founding member Mark Farner. While sharing stages with bands such as Aerosmith, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, Stevie Ray Vaughn, 38 Special, Cheap Trick & others, Brian & his brother Mark co-wrote the song “Road of the Gypsy” which was featured in the Motion Picture and soundtrack “Iron Eagle”. Both Adrenalin & DC Drive established a reputation as one of the most exciting and hard working American rock bands.
Brian cites some of his main influences as Motown’s Benny Benjamin, Danny Seraphine, John Bonham, Charlie Allen Martin, Charlie Watts, Al Jackson Jr., Johnny “Bee” Badanjek, Bernard Purdie, Don Brewer, Joey Kramer, Stephen Jo Bladd and Max Weinberg.
“I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to play and tour with so many people who inspired me. I learned to play drums by listening to my favorite songs and bands, and I’m grateful to have them as teachers.” - Brian Pastoria -
“I always felt that so much of life was about the rhythm and groove. Playing drums with so many great people and being part of the drumming community has made a few dreams come true for me…I would recommend it to anyone!” - Brian Pastoria -

Pastoria’s transitioned from drummer to media marketer and 360 ASX's Managing Partner, in his own words are:
"Well, it wasn’t a transition really, it was really more of an evolution. When I was working with marketing and advertisement and stuff, I noticed it was getting more into marketing, public relations and social media. So, my friend & business partner that I had been working with for the last fourteen years, Bijan Moradi was building websites and he was also trying to find out ways to drive people to websites & social media. Driving Facebook “likes”. Driving YouTube views. Driving Twitter followers. How do we build a database for companies? So, we’ve been going down that road and in the last twelve months it became 360 AXS. Everybody is wanting the best solution in social media w the question "How do we get the word out and find the relevant people."
360 AXS is focused on new media marketing, developing talent using new media marketing & communications. “Brands & Bands.”
This social-media marketing company has a way to find the conversations in all the social media; what people are talking about. They do reports and find all the associated keywords to find people. They can find people and see what their influence level is, as well. Because they can see when a person is on Twitter and that person may have ten thousand people following them, 360 AXS tags that person as a good person to be in conversation with.
360 ASX has the search engine to find those conversations and get involved in those conversations and respond to people in positive ways about what his company has going on, and turns them on to new music. If someone is talking about the new Bruno Mars song and Brian has an artist that has that audience, Brian says he’s like, “Ah, man I love that Uptown Funk song. If you should check out this new song by Leon Bridges.” Click on the link and it takes you to his landing page or his video.”
The production of digital media content brings visual and audio aid to the consumer to inform and engage potential clients about products and services. Digital Media Production plays an integral in Social Media Marketing. Without the production of digital media, there would be no social media. Visual images, written text and audio are all medians of digital media. Brian has figured this out.
His days of playing with his father in a wedding band to rocking out with some of the biggest rock stars, to becoming inductee into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame, Brian now uses his wealth of experience, knowledge and connections to get the word out about brands, services and products.
While amassing his wide range of performing experiences, Pastoria's intuitive grasp of music commerce led him to the business side of the advertising world and music production. Pastoria's teacher's are some of the biggest names in the recording industry, such as legendary former Motown Records musical director Maurice King and fabled Atlantic Records executive Jerry Wexler and Grammy award winning producer Vini Poncia.
Brian supports the Michigan Youth Appreciation Foundation, S.A.Y. Detroit and Capuchin Soup Kitchen. His Causes are the Arts, Culture and children.
Brian inspires many, including the writer of this article:
"I've known Brian for almost seven years and he has always shown himself to be friendly and open to new ideas and concepts on how to reach the masses. His knowledge and love for music, his commitment as a performer pays divendends and has given him a driver's seat in the music industry and media, as a whole. He knows both sides of the coin. He knows what it is like to be an artist and what it is like to manage and promote other artists. He has inspired me to consider the canvases; which are the eyes; the ears and the mouths of Society, to cultivate them and play them like parts of a drumset and be a social media marketer..."

Easy going and laid back, Pastoria describes his average day of work:
“You know, I don’t work…(laughter by both of us) I do what I do and when I‘m doing it, I do it all day. If I’m researching something, I’m talking to the people in the company. I’m researching stuff. It’s not like when I get up, I’m like, “Okay, I’m starting work now.” I’ll check out and sometimes. I’ll have somebody send me something, a good little piece of research, that will lead to the phone call later in the afternoon that I talk to my guy about and the next thing you know, he’s developing something. I woke up this morning. Received a call. They asked when I could talk. I said thirty minutes and an hour later we were talking to Coca-Cola and in the next three days we’ll be talking to their top people. (laughter from both of us)"
"When you do what you like and love, you don’t work.”
